Description
Job Purpose:
Execute the technical activities and analysis to demonstrate compliance of the product / application with the entry requirements and with the applicable regulations and normative.
Job duties (Responsibilities and Accountabilities):
1. Management and execution of the technical activities foreseen by the cycle of verification and validation according to regulations 50126, 50128 and 50129.
a. Manages and carries out the planned technical activities at the hardware, software and system / sub-system level, knowing the main tools and tools for carrying out these activities;
b. Reports any problems encountered during the execution of the activities to the Project Manager to identify possible solutions to problems, in compliance with the agreed work program;
c. It regularly interfaces with the R&D and AE departments for the continuation of verification and validation activities;
d. It is able to write a first revision of Product and / or Generic Application and Specific Application Safety Case, depending on the work context;
e. It is able to technically support the safety choices implemented on products / applications during audits and test witnessing with assessors and with the customer.
2. When applicable, it manages the external Technical interface to any suppliers for monitoring and completion of the technical verification and validation activities;
3. When applicable, it is able to perform tests and checks directly on the plants, to perform tests in real operating conditions.
Experience and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electronic, electric, computer science, telecommunication) or equivalent experience;
2. IT skills: MS Office suite; MS Visual Studio suite, Autocad as viewer; MS Project; Windows O.S. as user;
3. Safety and V&V skills. FMEA and FTA techniques, Hazard Analysis and tracking experiences, Formal technical inspection of documents, Fault injection tests, HW/SW Integration tests, module tests executed with cantata, vector cast or similar tools;
4. Decision making ability and troubleshooting skills;
5. Language skills:
a. Italian mother tongue (or equivalent)
b. English knowledge: B1 / B2 or equivalent
c. Others: (French, Spanish, German, etc)

a. Junior: proven experience < 3 years, on V&V Engineer ;
b. Intermediate: 3 years < proven experience < 5 years, on V&V Engineer;
c. Senior: 5 < proven experience < 10 years, on V&V Engineer;
d. Expert: 10 < proven experience < 15 years, on V&V Engineer;
e. Master: proven experience > 15 years, on V&V Engineer;
