Ihre Aufgaben

Sie entwickeln das bestehende Data-Warehouse-System kontinuierlich weiter und stellen dessen langfristige Leistungsfähigkeit sicher. Sie konzipieren gemeinsam mit dem Team die Migration des Data Warehouses in eine moderne Cloud-Infrastruktur und wirken aktiv bei der Umsetzung mit. Sie analysieren bestehende Geschäftsprozesse, vereinfachen und automatisieren diese eigenverantwortlich in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachbereichen. Sie optimieren fortlaufend die DWH-Architektur sowie die zugrunde liegenden Datenmodelle und erarbeiten strategische Zielbilder für die zukünftige Ausrichtung. Sie integrieren neue Datenquellen in das Data Warehouse und entwickeln robuste ETL- bzw. Datenverarbeitungsprozesse. Sie übernehmen fachliche Verantwortung im Team, unterstützen Kolleginnen und Kollegen mit Ihrem Expertenwissen und fördern den Wissenstransfer, insbesondere im Bereich Cloud-Technologien. Ihr Profil
Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Studium mit quantitativem Schwerpunkt (z. B. Informatik, Mathematik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation durch entsprechende Berufserfahrung.
Sie bringen mindestens fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung im Data-Warehouse- oder Data-Engineering-Umfeld mit, idealerweise in Verbindung mit Cloud-Plattformen.
Sie besitzen sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python und SQL.
Sie haben praktische Erfahrung mit modernen Big-Data-Technologien wie Spark, Delta Lake oder vergleichbaren Frameworks.
Kenntnisse in CI/CD-Pipelines sowie Infrastructure as Code sind von Vorteil.

Hands-on experience with the Azure data stack, for example:

Azure Data Lake
Azure Databricks
Azure Synapse or similar

Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes and scalable data architectures
Experience with CI/CD, version control and automated deployments for data solutions
Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
Experience with machine‑learning integration or AI use cases is a strong plus
