About the Opportunity

An established and growing ServiceNow consultancy is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join its Canberra-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong consultant who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, and contributing to complex digital transformation programs across government and enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, configuration, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned to client requirements and industry best practices.
Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and requirements-gathering activities with stakeholders.
Develop and customise ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations and automation solutions.
Configure and support core ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD and/or SecOps.
Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution designs and implementation artefacts.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers to deliver successful outcomes.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants and developers.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities for platform optimisation.
Support testing, deployment and post-implementation activities.
Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Skills & Experience

Essential
3+ years' experience working with the ServiceNow platform in a Technical Consultant, Senior Developer or Solution Consultant capacity.
Strong experience delivering ServiceNow implementations and enhancements within enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with:
ServiceNow ITSM
Flow Designer
IntegrationHub
Business Rules
Client Scripts
UI Policies
Script Includes
Catalog Items
Service Portal and/or Employee Center
Experience developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and platform architecture.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Australian Citizenship.

Desirable
Experience delivering solutions within Federal Government environments.
Exposure to ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps or SPM.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Existing Baseline, NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
