Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations while leading a small capital renovation project. This is a highly visible role where you’ll partner closely with senior leadership, manage key vendor relationships, and respond to facility needs as they arise. Working in a collaborative environment based in New Orleans, you will be required to be onsite three days a week.
What You'll Do
• Oversee daily facilities and property operations
• Lead a renovation project from planning through execution
• Manage external vendors (janitorial, maintenance, IT, HVAC, plumbing)
• Act as the point person for facilities issues and emergency response
• Partner with senior leadership on operational needs and improvements
• Supervise a Purchasing Specialist and support vendor procurement
• Assist with oversight of kitchen operations as needed
What We're Looking For
• Experience in facilities or property management
• Proven project management experience, ideally with renovations or construction
• Strong vendor management and coordination skills
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and handle urgent situations
• Comfortable being on-call and taking ownership
