  • Description

    Lead end-to-end sourcing and category management for MRO supplies and services, including spare parts, consumables, tools, PPE, repair services, calibration, and maintenance contractors.
    Develop and execute category strategies to optimize total cost of ownership, service levels, and supply continuity.
    Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to achieve optimal cost, quality, and service performance.
    Standardize material specifications, rationalize SKUs and supplier base, and implement preferred supplier programs across multiple sites.
    Drive competitive sourcing events, contract negotiations, and commercial term improvements aligned with business objectives.
    Monitor supplier performance, conduct business reviews and audits, and resolve supplier-related issues.
    Track market conditions, supplier risk, and availability of critical MRO categories to mitigate potential disruptions.
    Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity improvements through sourcing strategies and demand management.
    Partner with Finance and Operations on budgeting, spend forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
    Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, and Stores teams to optimize inventory strategies, including critical spares and VMI/consignment programs.
    Support asset reliability, plant uptime, safety initiatives, and maintenance productivity improvements.
    Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
    Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, digital tools, and requisition-to-purchase order cycle efficiency.
    Support internal audits, supplier qualifications, and special projects as needed.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    Minimum of 3 years of sourcing or procurement experience, with a strong focus on MRO supplies and services in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    Strong knowledge of MRO supply chains and total cost of ownership principles.
    Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.
    Experience managing MRO inventory strategies, including critical spares and working capital optimization.
    Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    Professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS are preferred.
