The Technico fonctionnel SAP ECC TIME Senior will be instrumental in supporting the upcoming rollout of a comprehensive SAP HCM Time Management solution tailored specifically for the German employee wave, scheduled to go live in January 2027. This role exists to ensure a seamless transition to the MyTime RUN phase by managing German-specific business requirements, driving incident resolution, and facilitating ongoing enhancements. Operating within a project team dedicated to this critical deployment, the successful candidate will directly influence the efficiency and compliance of time management processes across Germany, underpinning broader HR and payroll integration efforts.

In this role, the Technico fonctionnel SAP ECC TIME Senior will take ownership of translating complex HR and time management requirements into functional SAP configurations, ensuring that the system aligns with German labour laws and organisational policies. You will maintain and evolve SAP HCM Time Management settings, oversee incident and problem management activities, and lead efforts in root cause analysis to deliver robust operational support. Your involvement will extend through testing, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation phases, guaranteeing the stability and usability of the solution for end users.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include close collaboration with key stakeholders to gather evolving business needs and translate these into SAP HCM solutions, with a particular focus on managing time-related data such as absences, quotas, and working time regulations pertinent to Germany. Additionally, maintaining functional specifications and process documentation forms a vital part of the role, ensuring compliance and facilitating knowledge transfer to both user communities and support teams. The incumbent will also be expected to lead training initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at optimising time management processes within the RUN environment.

Operating within an SAP ecosystem, the role demands strong competency not only in SAP HCM Time Management but also in its integration with Payroll and other HR modules such as Personnel Administration and Organisational Management. Experience in supporting RUN/AMS environments is crucial, as the consultant will manage service requests and incident tickets, while ensuring smooth operation during the critical transition from project to steady-state support. The role also requires fluency in German and English to navigate stakeholder interactions effectively and manage localised requirements within the global SAP framework.

The working arrangement for this contract allows for full remote engagement, particularly advantageous for consultants based in Germany, though flexibility to work from Paris or Brussels is also accommodated. The contract spans an initial six months, with the potential for renewal dependent on ongoing project demands and support needs.

Candidates applying for this position must demonstrate specialist expertise in German SAP HCM Time Management processes and an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment that governs working time, absence management, and associated payroll integration. Proven experience managing support for international rollouts and subsequent RUN support is essential to excel in this role. Strong analytical skills combined with a methodical approach to problem resolution and incident management will be critical in maintaining the system’s integrity and supporting organisational objectives.

This is an opportunity for a technically proficient and functionally skilled consultant to engage in a key phase of SAP HCM transformation, specifically focused on enhancing operational delivery for the German workforce. As the Technico fonctionnel SAP ECC TIME Senior, you will be at the forefront of sustaining and optimising a high-impact Time Management solution that aligns with evolving business needs and stringent local legal requirements.

The industry context for this role is firmly rooted in Information Technology and Services, where digital solutions support complex HR operations across multiple countries. The contract nature of the role reflects a dynamic environment where technical expertise and functional knowledge must combine to deliver dependable, compliant, and user-friendly SAP HCM capabilities.
