Description
The IT Security Analyst is responsible for global cybersecurity operations, risk management, and compliance, ensuring the protection and integrity of enterprise systems and data.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead and manage global IT cybersecurity strategy and operations
Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents
Oversee SOC/SIEM vendors, cyber audits, and compliance initiatives
Maintain and enhance security tools (Defender, XDR, firewalls, AV, O365, Mimecast)
Conduct vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and phishing simulations
Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and network protections
Provide guidance to leadership and stakeholders on security risks and best practices
Ensure system patching, performance monitoring, and SLA adherence
Act as an escalation point for IT service desk issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
~5+ years experience in cybersecurity (ideally in Pharma, FinTech, or regulated environments)
Certifications preferred: CISM, CISSP (or in progress)
Strong experience with Azure AD, Intune, Cisco, O365 Security, Defender, AV tools
Proven ability in security operations, project delivery, and compliance
