  • Description

The NetSuite Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting a dynamic food and beverage business experiencing significant growth and complexity across three subsidiaries. Tasked with overseeing the administration of NetSuite within a manufacturing and distribution environment, this position exists to ensure the ongoing enhancement and seamless operation of the company’s core ERP platform. As the business scales from $300 million towards a $1 billion target, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the implementation of advanced modules and integration projects that underpin operational efficiency and future-proof the technology landscape.

Reporting initially to a Senior IT Director and later transitioning under a senior manager with growing responsibilities, the NetSuite Administrator will manage a range of activities focused on system administration, configuration, and optimisation tailored to the unique needs of multiple business units. Key projects include the rollout of NetSuite’s Advanced Modules which promise to expand transactional capabilities, the integration of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to streamline communications with external partners, and critical interfaces such as those with Princeton Transportation Management System (TMS) and Tipalti payment solutions. The role also supports warehouse operations through integration initiatives, helping maintain alignment between systems and physical logistics workflows.

Day to day, the NetSuite Administrator will maintain and configure the platform, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with internal stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions. The complexity of supporting multiple subsidiaries means that adaptability and a deep understanding of inter-company transactions, permissions, and process flows are vital. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable hands-on experience managing NetSuite in manufacturing and distribution sectors, with a strong preference for food and beverage industry exposure. Expertise with NetSuite’s Advanced Modules and EDI is critical to meet the demands of ongoing and planned system enhancements.

This is a permanent role requiring onsite presence four days per week, supporting the team’s collaborative environment during key business hours. While specific locations related to the position are currently to be confirmed, the requirement to be physically present underscores the hands-on nature of the job. The successful applicant will be joining at a time when the team structure is being reshaped to better support project delivery and staff development. This restructuring creates clear opportunities for career progression, with salary bands designed to allow growth within the role before any title changes are necessary.

Candidates should expect a working environment where investment in both technology and people is a priority. The organisation has a strong track record of reward, having paid annual bonuses consistently over the last five years, reflecting the value placed on contribution and performance. Benefits will be confirmed but are expected to form a full package consistent with the permanent nature of the role.

Essential skills and experience for the NetSuite Administrator include:

    - Proven hands-on NetSuite administration in a manufacturing and distribution context, ideally with food and beverage experience.
    - Familiarity with NetSuite’s Advanced Modules and experience preparing for their deployment.
    - Solid track record integrating NetSuite with both native plug-ins and external systems such as Princeton TMS and Tipalti.
    - Operational awareness of warehouse management processes and systems integration.

Working closely with a senior leadership team experienced in IT infrastructure and application management, the NetSuite Administrator will contribute to a clear roadmap of projects including not only module rollouts and integrations but also data warehousing, analytics improvements, and preparation for future NetSuite platform upgrades.

This role sits within the food and beverage sector, part of the broader accommodation and food services industry. It offers the chance to engage with complex technology challenges in a fast-growing, evolving business environment where the right expertise can have a direct impact on operational success and business growth.
