Die Chance

Our client is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Engineer to join their in-house IT team. This individual will serve as a key technical resource supporting the day-to-day operation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central while partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, Inventory, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure system stability, data integrity, and continuous process improvement.

This is a hands-on role focused on ERP support, troubleshooting, optimization, user training, and improving business processes within a dynamic distribution and retail environment.

Ihre Aufgaben
️ System Support & Troubleshooting
Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Central support requests
Troubleshoot functional and operational issues across Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Order Management modules
Diagnose root causes of ERP issues, including GL impacts, inventory discrepancies, and transaction errors
Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues when appropriate
Maintain data integrity and ensure accurate ERP transactions
️ Configuration & System Optimization

Configure, maintain, and optimize core Business Central modules, including:

General Ledger
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Sales & Purchase Order Processing
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Banking, Fixed Assets, Intercompany & Consolidation

Additional responsibilities include:

Supporting workflow improvements, testing, configuration updates, and minor system enhancements
Managing user security roles and permissions
Assisting with licensing reviews and identifying opportunities for system improvements
Documentation & User Training
Develop and maintain SOPs, user guides, and technical documentation
Train new users and provide ongoing ERP support
Recommend workflow and reporting improvements based on business needs
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Support ERP upgrades and enhancement initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and identify automation opportunities
Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates and best practices
Help improve reporting, operational workflows, and overall system performance
What You'll Bring
Erforderliche Berufserfahrung
3+ years of ERP support, implementation, or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/NAV experience
Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV environments
Experience providing post-implementation ERP support to end users
Technische Fertigkeiten

Strong functional knowledge of:

General Ledger
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Sales & Purchasing
Banking & Financial Operations

Working knowledge of:

SQL / T-SQL
Microsoft SQL Server
Relational databases
Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools
SharePoint and Microsoft technologies

Understanding of cross-functional ERP workflows and business process impacts is highly desirable.
