D365 Business Central Consultant w/ ProjectPro Experience

Our client is seeking a senior consultant to stabilize, optimize, and standardize its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Project Pro environment across multiple operating companies. This individual will lead ERP remediation efforts, improve construction accounting processes, strengthen reporting capabilities, and drive user adoption following a complex implementation.

Aufgaben
Assess and optimize the current Business Central environment, including financial processes, system configuration, reporting, and data governance.
Lead standardization initiatives across multiple entities, including chart of accounts, dimensions, vendor management, and reporting structures.
Evaluate and enhance Project Pro usage, project accounting workflows, and job costing processes.
Improve construction accounting practices, including WIP, percentage-of-completion accounting, progress billing, retention, change orders, and forecasting.
Develop executive reporting, dashboards, and KPI visibility across project and financial performance metrics.
Partner with stakeholders, end users, and third-party vendors to deliver process improvements and increase system adoption.
Create training materials, documentation, and governance standards to support long-term scalability.
Erforderliche Berufserfahrung
7+ years of Business Central consulting or implementation experience.
Strong background in construction, contracting, or project-based accounting environments.

Expertise in:
WIP reporting
Percentage-of-completion accounting
Job costing
Revenue recognition
Retention and progress billing
Forecasting and backlog reporting.
Experience remediating underperforming ERP implementations and improving business processes.
Strong stakeholder management and user training capabilities.

Erwünschte Berufserfahrung
Hands-on experience with Project Pro.
Experience with multi-entity Business Central environments.
Power BI, Excel reporting, and executive dashboard development.
Prior experience supporting private equity-backed organizations.
CPA, Controller, or Construction Finance leadership background preferred.
