Senior-Java-Entwickler

This role sits with an established Gothenburg-based consultancy, on a long-running in-house project for one of their end clients running an all-Java stack, no .NET in the building (culture-wise, think along the lines of a Spotify). Candidate would be joining primarily to cover a colleague's parental leave over the next year, but the project itself is growing, so there's a good chance of extension or a permanent path afterwards regardless of how that plays out.
They're specifically after someone with roughly 6-10 years' Java experience — enough to work independently and think critically about the architecture, but still keen to keep learning as the roadmap moves closer to AI-driven tooling.

What you'd be working with:
• Java, Spring Boot / Spring Microservices architecture
• AWS (cloud-native deployment and infrastructure)
• AI-assisted development tooling
• SQL and relational data design
• RESTful API design and integration

The setup:
• Location: Gothenburg (Hybrid — exact split TBC)
• Timeline: Immediate need, long-term/ongoing project
• Team: Joining an established in-house team on a project the consultancy has run for years
