Accounting Role Supporting Cutting-Edge Healthcare Innovation!

Our client is an innovative biotechnology company that is advancing personalized cancer immunotherapies and next-generation vaccine technologies. As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to play a key role in supporting and scaling the accounting function.

This is a highly visible opportunity reporting directly to accounting leadership and partnering closely with senior management. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a growing organization while positioning yourself for long-term career advancement as the company expands.

Principales responsabilités :
• Own daily accounting operations, including AP oversight, payment processing, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Review and validate transactions processed through an AI-driven AP automation platform.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting and audit activities.
• Manage cash disbursements and payment batches through NetSuite.
• Support payroll administration over time, leveraging the company's PEO platform.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Partner closely with leadership to support the company's continued growth and scalability.

Qualifications requises :
• Hands-on NetSuite experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and full-cycle accounting processes.
• Ability to articulate accounting concepts, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end activities with confidence.
• Experience managing AP, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close responsibilities.
• Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal training or oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
