Project Manager

Project Leadership and Delivery
• Own the integrated project plan, scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, issues, decisions, and status reporting across the Business Central and connected-solution workstreams.
• Build and maintain detailed schedules, action plans, and executive-level project updates in Smartsheet.
• Coordinate internal teams and external consultants and vendors, manage cross-workstream dependencies, and ensure decisions and deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and escalation discussions; document outcomes, owners, and due dates.
• Manage scope changes through clear impact analysis, business approval, and plan updates.

Testing, Training, Cutover, and Adoption
• Plan and lead end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scope, scenarios, scripts, test data, participant readiness, daily triage, defect tracking, retesting, evidence, and business sign-off.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process maps, SOPs, job aids, training materials, decision logs, and support documentation.
• Develop and deliver a train-the-trainer program, prepare designated trainers, and confirm business readiness before deployment.
• Lead cutover planning and execution, including cutover checklists, ownership, sequencing, mock cutovers, data and configuration validation, communications, go/no-go criteria, and contingency planning.
• Provide hands-on go-live and stabilization support; coordinate issue triage, prioritize defects, track resolution, and transition the solution into the ongoing support model.
• Monitor adoption and process compliance after go-live and recommend follow-up training or process improvements where needed.

Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading ERP, CRM, business applications, or digital transformation projects in a techno-functional project management, functional consulting, or business systems role.
• Hands-on functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft CRM; including sales order processing, customers, items, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, invoicing, and financial touchpoints.
• Strong Smartsheet skills for project schedules, dependencies, resource coordination, dashboards, status reporting, and action tracking.
• Ability to translate between business users, functional consultants, developers, integration partners, and leadership without losing key process or technical details.
• Strong facilitation, written communication, stakeholder management, organization, problem-solving, and decision-management skills.
• Ability to manage several connected workstreams, changing priorities, and vendor dependencies while maintaining clear ownership and delivery discipline.
Preferred
• Experience implementing or supporting TradeCentric, Billtrust, PayFabric, Zetadocs, or comparable B2B commerce, accounts receivable automation, payment, and document-management solutions.
• Experience with Business Central integrations, APIs, middleware, data migration, master data, and interface reconciliation.
• Experience with pricing transformation, order-to-cash process redesign, customer service operations, or sales order migration.
• Experience in food, distribution, wholesale, or another high-volume order and inventory environment.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent delivery experience.
