Our client is a leading international organisation with a significant Salesforce footprint supporting business operations across multiple countries. As part of their ongoing digital transformation journey, they are investing in strengthening their internal Salesforce capability and are looking for a Salesforce Developer to take ownership of the platform and help shape its future direction.

This is an opportunity to move into an internal role where you will work closely with business stakeholders, influence platform strategy, and have a direct impact on the organisation's Salesforce ecosystem.

The Role

As Salesforce Developer, you will be the technical owner of the Salesforce platform, responsible for both development and the ongoing evolution of the solution landscape.

You will work closely with business users, internal teams, and external partners to deliver enhancements, improve existing functionality, and ensure the platform continues to support business objectives effectively.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, and Lightning Components
Configure and customise Salesforce to meet business requirements
Manage releases, deployments, and platform governance
Act as the internal Salesforce subject matter expert
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other business applications
Drive continuous improvement and platform optimisation initiatives
Coordinate and challenge external delivery partners where required
Support long-term platform strategy and roadmap development
Required Experience
Solid Salesforce development experience
Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
Experience with integrations and API-based architecture
Understanding of release management and DevOps practices
Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
Experience working within complex business environments
Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills

Nice to Have
Salesforce certifications
Experience with Salesforce architecture and solution design
Experience in a multi-country or international environment
Exposure to platform ownership or application management responsibilities
