SAP Cutover Lead

Cutover Lead - Sweden/Finland (hybrid)

Cutover Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the transition from legacy systems to the new SAP S/4HANA environment and the extended application landscape. The role ensures that all business, technical, and data migration activities required for go-live are aligned, sequenced, and executed successfully with minimal disruption to operations. The Cutover Lead works closely with program leadership, functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure overall go-live readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Cutover Strategy & Planning
+ Define and own the overall cutover strategy, governance model, and decision framework
+ Develop and maintain an integrated cutover plan aligned with programme milestones, testing, and deployment
+ Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths

Cutover Preparation
+ Coordinate readiness across business, functional, technical, integration, and data teams
+ Identify, manage, and mitigate cutover risks and dependencies
+ Ensure completion of all pre‑cutover activities (data, transports, integrations, infrastructure)
+ Plan and execute cutover rehearsals and mock cutovers

Cutover Execution
+ Lead cutover execution during the go‑live window
+ Track activities, manage issues, and drive timely resolution and escalation
+ Monitor progress against schedule and support business validation and go/no‑go decisions

Go‑Live & Stabilisation
+ Support business readiness and transition to the new application landscape
+ Coordinate post‑go‑live activities and handover to hypercare support
+ Capture and communicate cutover outcomes and lessons learned

Stakeholder Management & Communication
+ Act as the central coordination point for all cutover activities
+ Drive alignment across programme leadership, delivery teams, and business stakeholders
+ Provide clear, regular updates on cutover readiness, risks, and progress
