Submarket Lead Aerospace

We are partnering with a global leader in advanced materials and engineered solutions to identify a Submarket Lead to drive growth within the aerospace structural market. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and position the organization for long-term success across key aerospace OEMs, tier suppliers, and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives for the aerospace structural market segment.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase market share, revenue, and profitability.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to support business objectives.
Lead market analysis efforts to identify industry trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities.
Develop pricing and commercialization strategies that drive sustainable growth while protecting margins.
Support forecasting, demand planning, and strategic business reviews.
Present market insights and growth recommendations to executive leadership.
Drive customer engagement initiatives and represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Partner with internal teams to support new product introductions and market expansion efforts.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
8+ years of experience within aerospace, advanced manufacturing, specialty metals, engineered products, or related industrial markets.
Demonstrated success in business development, strategic account management, market development, or commercial leadership.
Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or aerospace distribution networks.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing revenue growth, profitability, and market performance metrics.
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Preferred
MBA or advanced business degree.
Experience supporting aerospace structural applications, airframe programs, forgings, fasteners, specialty metals, titanium, aluminum, or high-performance materials.
Familiarity with Airbus, Boeing, defense, and international aerospace markets.
Experience developing go-to-market and market expansion strategies.
