The Group EPM Specialist will be instrumental in driving enterprise-wide performance management enhancements, ensuring the EPM platform not only aligns with but actively supports the organisation’s Finance Transformation objectives. This role exists to bridge strategic finance requirements with scalable technology solutions, enabling improved budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, tax provision, and reporting processes. Operating within a hybrid working model, the successful candidate will engage closely with senior finance and IT stakeholders to deliver robust, future-proofed EPM capabilities that accommodate growth, acquisitions, and organisational evolution.
In this role, you will act as the Group’s subject matter expert on Enterprise Performance Management systems, spearheading the development and maintenance of a comprehensive EPM platform roadmap. Collaboration is key, partnering with Group Finance teams including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and IT to translate complex finance processes into efficient, industry-standard EPM solutions. Your expertise will influence solution architecture design covering dimensional models, metadata frameworks, security protocols, and governance standards, ensuring compliance and auditability across the platform. The scope of responsibility extends beyond design, encompassing hands-on involvement in financial model development aimed at budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, tax provisioning, and management reporting.
Daily activities will include participating in the configuration of forms, reports, metadata, business rules, and data integrations. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, alongside Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing platforms, will support seamless data management and reconciliation throughout the finance ecosystem. You will also play a central role in supporting historical data loads and ensuring data integrity prior to go-live. Maintaining the platform post-implementation involves troubleshooting workflows, resolving data submission errors, synchronising metadata, managing process scheduling, and optimising platform health and performance. The candidate will also administer configuration changes, prioritise development backlogs, and establish release management procedures to maintain system stability and governance.
A significant part of the position is to leverage native EPM artificial intelligence capabilities and emerging technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy, financial reconciliation, exception analysis, and insight generation. Establishing reusable AI agents and automation frameworks will contribute to ongoing platform improvements and operational efficiency.
Candidates for the Group EPM Specialist role are expected to demonstrate proven experience in delivering end-to-end Enterprise Performance Management solutions across multiple projects. Practical knowledge of OneStream, Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Hyperion, or similar leading platforms is essential. A solid grasp of finance consolidation processes and reporting, combined with expertise in ERP data structures, will underpin successful solution design and integration. The ability to support testing, data reconciliation, and BAU platform administration after implementation is also vital.
This role supports a mission-driven environment underpinned by public sector governance and standards. The Group EPM Specialist will contribute directly to financial transformation initiatives that underpin effective management and reporting frameworks necessary for sustainable growth and regulatory compliance.
