Senior Manager/ Associate Director – SAP Consulting

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic SAP S/4HANA Senior Manager / Associate Director to join our SAP Consulting team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership in driving business development initiatives and overseeing the successful delivery of SAP consulting projects, with a particular focus on SAP S/4HANA upgrades, transformations, and end-to-end implementations.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP, strong experience in S/4HANA upgrade or conversion projects, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP programs across regional, multi-country, or multinational client environments. This role requires a strong combination of functional expertise, project leadership, client relationship management, and business development capability.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop SAP solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Lead SAP S/4HANA upgrade, conversion, transformation, rollout, and end-to-end implementation projects, with a focus on SAP FICO.
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP FICO, including finance processes, controlling, integration points, and S/4HANA-related changes.
Lead and manage teams of SAP consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and governance structures, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP consulting projects, while managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
Oversee the design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support of SAP solutions.
Work across multiple SAP modules and collaborate with functional, technical, basis, data, and business teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide expert advice and guidance on SAP best practices, S/4HANA capabilities, finance transformation, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
Ensure high-quality project deliverables, adherence to project timelines, and achievement of client satisfaction.
Identify and lead opportunities for business growth, including proposal development, upselling, and cross-selling SAP consulting services.
Stay updated on SAP product releases, S/4HANA enhancements, and advancements to continuously enhance service offerings.
Move easily between big-picture thinking and managing relevant project and solution details.
Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions proactively.
Navigate the complexities of cross-border, regional, and multi-country teams and engagements.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
12+ years of SAP consulting experience, including implementation, customization, rollout, upgrade, and support across SAP environments.
Strong expertise in SAP FICO is required, including hands-on project experience in SAP Finance and Controlling.
Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA upgrade, migration, conversion, or transformation projects.
Track record of delivering multiple end-to-end SAP projects, preferably including large-scale S/4HANA implementation or upgrade programs.
Experience in solution design or solution architecture across SAP FICO and related modules.
Regional, multi-country, or multinational SAP project delivery experience is highly preferred.
Proven track record in SAP business development and project delivery, ideally with both domestic and multinational client contexts.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and lead project teams.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at senior stakeholder levels.
In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, products, solutions, and S/4HANA roadmap.
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Experience managing project risks, dependencies, governance, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Ability to work effectively across cross-border and diverse teams and engagements.
Project Management Professional, PMP, certification is a plus.
SAP certification in FICO, S/4HANA Finance, or other relevant modules is desirable.
