Principal – Enterprise Applications

This role is for a senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect with extensive experience leading large‑scale, global SAP transformation programs. The position combines enterprise architecture, deep SAP expertise, business consulting, and people leadership. The architect acts as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping end‑to‑end supply chain transformation journeys from strategy and design through delivery and adoption.
The role involves defining future‑state business models and E2E processes, building SAP S/4HANA‑based transformation roadmaps, and identifying opportunities for digitisation and automation using technologies such as AI, IoT, RPA, and Blockchain. Strong engagement with C‑level and senior stakeholders is central, including leading workshops, supporting business case development, and securing buy‑in for transformation initiatives.
The architect leads Phase 0 assessments, business blueprints, PoCs, MVPs, pilots, and full implementations, while ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and partner roadmaps. The role also includes close collaboration with ecosystem partners such as SAP and Microsoft.
In addition, the position carries people leadership responsibilities, mentoring and governing global teams, providing hands‑on guidance, and ensuring delivery quality. The individual represents the organisation as the face of credibility and best practice to the client.

Ideal Candidate Profile

14+ years of hands‑on SAP consulting experience
Proven Solution Architect or Lead on multiple SAP end‑to‑end implementations
Strong functional (Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales) or technical (ABAP, UI5, Integration, Basis, Security) SAP expertise
Experience with Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid S/4HANA transformations
Strong business acumen, client‑facing skills, and C‑suite engagement experience
SAP architecture knowledge, SAP certifications, and transformation preparation experience
Full right to work in the UK: ILR, British passport, national
Location: London or at a commutable distance
