Systems Administrator

A high-growth technology company is building a modern, deeply technical IT organization and is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to help design and scale its internal systems and infrastructure.
This role owns and evolves core IT platforms, processes, and architecture—driving improvements across employee experience, identity and access management, automation, endpoint engineering, security, and compliance readiness. As an early member of a small but growing team, you’ll have significant ownership, work closely with leadership and cross‑functional partners, and help define what best‑in‑class IT operations look like.

Responsibilities

-Own and scale critical IT systems and infrastructure
-Design secure, automated, and employee‑first IT solutions
-Deliver against an IT roadmap with measurable impact
-Eliminate manual work and recurring support issues through automation
-Build self‑service capabilities to improve efficiency
-Contribute to AI‑first IT initiatives beyond traditional help desk models
-Develop monitoring, reporting, and risk mitigation practices
-Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Qualifications

-Experience building IT systems and processes from the ground up
-Strong engineering and automation skills
-Hands-on cloud administration experience (AWS and/or GCP)
-Deep knowledge of macOS, Windows, identity management, and security best practices
-Experience managing large endpoint fleets and leading system implementations or migrations
-Exposure to AI-driven workplace solutions
-Strong communication, prioritization, and independent execution skills
-Employee-first mindset with a focus on usability and impact
