    Commercial Director

    About the Role

    On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Commercial Director to join a product company based in Oslo, looking to explore new markets in Europe.

    The company is building a platform for managing heavy machinery fleets within construction and infrastructure, with a focus on operations, maintenance, and cost control. The solution integrates with telematics and fleet management systems to provide customers with better insight into usage, maintenance needs, and asset profitability.

    The company has already secured leading customers and is now scaling across the Nordics and into international markets. With a strong product, clear value proposition, and growing demand, the company is now strengthening its commercial organisation to support the next phase of growth.

    To accelerate this, the company is hiring two Commercial Directors in parallel, who will focus on different segments and geographies from day one.

    The Role

    As a Commercial Director, you will take full ownership of the sales process from initial outreach to closed deal.
    This is a hands-on role where you will build pipeline, drive outbound activity, run product demonstrations, and convert prospects into customers. The company leverages AI tools heavily in the top of the funnel (prospecting, lead sourcing, sequencing), allowing you to focus on qualification, relationship building, and closing.

    The role is suited for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment and enjoys building commercial structure and momentum from the ground up.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Build and own a strong sales pipeline from scratch
    • Drive outbound sales and lead qualification
    • Run product demos and manage the full sales cycle
    • Convert prospects into customers in complex B2B environments
    • Engage with multiple stakeholders across customer organisations
    • Work closely with product and technical teams to understand customer needs
    • Contribute to expansion into new markets and segments

    Who You Are

    We are looking for commercially strong profiles with a proven ability to execute and close in complex sales environments.
    You likely have:

    • Experience with B2B enterprise sales, preferably within SaaS or technology
    • A track record of managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
    • Strong outbound capabilities and a proactive mindset
    • Comfort working in a startup environment with high ownership
    • Ability to sell into organisations with multiple stakeholders
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

    Nice to have:
    • Experience from construction, infrastructure, or heavy equipment industries
    • International sales experience
    • Familiarity with AI tools in sales workflows
